Economizer Description


H-type finned tube economizer is an efficient heat transfer economizer assembled by h-type finned tube (also called H-type finned tube, finned tube, butterfly tube).

1. Structure: The basic form is "H" type and double "H" type, arranged in line.

2. Performance characteristics:

(1) Swapping bare tube economizers for H-type finned ones boosts heat transfer area. That means fewer pipes are needed, which opens up more space for flue gas to flow. The result? Lower gas speed and less wear.Here’s why: pipe wear is tied to flue gas speed—specifically, it’s proportional to the speed raised to the 3.33 power. Drop the speed from 9m/s to 7m/s, and wear drops to just 43% of the original.Plus, tests show finned tubes naturally push fly ash toward the middle of the tube rows. So their design itself helps cut down on wear.

(2) H-type finned tube can be manufactured into double pipe "double H" type finned tube, its structure is rigid, can be used in the case of long tube row.

(3) H-type finned tube economizer is arranged in line. H-type fin divides the space into several small areas, which has a flow effect on the air flow, so that the wear is greatly reduced.

(4) H-type fin can achieve the best soot blowing effect due to the formation of straight channels on both sides.

(5) Compact space, the overall weight is greatly reduced, reduce the cost.

(6) Energy saving and less power consumption: the economizer for the generator set can reduce at least two thirds of the generator smoke heat loss, and only 2 ~ 4kW power consumption per ton of steam.

Function


1. Absorb the heat of low-temperature flue gas, reduce the smoke exhaust temperature, reduce smoke loss and save fuel.

 

2. Since the feed water is heated in the economizer before entering the drum, the heat absorption of the feed water on the heating surface is reduced, and the economizer can be used to replace part of the high-cost evaporative heating surface.

 

3. When the feed water temperature is raised, the wall temperature difference will be reduced and the thermal stress will be correspondingly reduced to extend the service life of the steam drum.
