ASME A179 Coal-Fired Boiler Economizers of Carbon Steel to Power Station
Product Overview
The economizers consist of parallel-arranged pipes, often curved to maximize contact area between flue gas and incoming water. Flue gas passes through the boiler combustion chamber into the economizer, flowing through the pipes while boiler inlet water simultaneously passes through and exchanges heat with the flue gas. This heat transfer process lowers flue gas temperature while increasing inlet water temperature, recovering waste heat and improving overall boiler thermal efficiency.
