High Efficiency Carbon Steel Thermal Manifold Boiler Headers with 92.4%--94.5% Thermal Efficiency in Horizontal Style 0

Headers collect and distribute steam or water from or to a series of smaller pipes or conduits. Manufactured from carbon or ferritic steel, typically matching the grade of the piping systems. Unlike piping systems which are usually butt welded and bent, headers maintain a straight configuration.

The operational pressures and temperatures vary based on the connected component. Headers connected to economizers or water wall panels face less demanding material requirements than those connected to superheaters or reheaters.

Available in carbon steel to high-alloy ferritic steels (including T/P91 or T/P92), with sizes ranging from 88.9 mm to 406.4 mm.

Application

Steam boiler pressure part headers with large diameter longitudinal welded pipes include:

  • Water wall headers
  • Superheater headers
  • Economizer headers

These components serve to collect, mix, and redistribute working medium. Structurally classified as either end cover type (end enclosure) or necking down type.
