H-type finned tube heat exchanger elements maintain a high capacity for heat transfer, possess superior self-cleaning properties and retain the ability to effect flue gas waste heat recovery in boiler renovations. Convective heat transfer coefficient is proportional to fin pitch, but inversely proportional to fin height and fin width.
H-type finned tubes have been widely used in boilers and waste heat recovery due to their improved heat exchange efficiency and extended surface heat transfer. Derived from rectangle finned tubes, their unique groove structure provides excellent anti-wear and anti-fouling performance.
Our H-fin tubes are custom-designed to meet specific customer requirements, ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency. Manufactured with high heat transfer efficiency, they offer optimized flue gas resistance and compact space design.
- H-fin tubes feature two steel circular fins symmetrically welded to form an "H" shape, used as boiler components in utility boilers, industrial boilers, and marine power systems
- The rectangular fins expand the heating surface area, approximately doubling the tube diameter
- Manufactured using flash resistance welding for high fusion rates, strong welds, and excellent thermal conductivity
- Available in dual tube "double H" configurations for enhanced structural rigidity in longer tube applications
