Compared with bare tube economizer, H-finned tube economizer can enlarge the heat exchange area and reduce the number of tubes. It also can increase the flue gas flow area in order to reduce the flue gas flow speed and abrasion.
H-finned tube can be made as double H finned tubes , with high rigidness to fit long tube row.


Economizer with H-type finned tube economizer instead of bare tube economizer can increase the heat transfer area, reduce the number of pipe arrangement, so as to increase the flue gas circulation section, reduce the smoke speed, reduce wear.Because the wear rate of the pipe is proportional to the 3.33 power of the flue gas flow rate, if the flue gas velocity is reduced from 9M /s to 7m/s, the wear rate will be reduced to 43% of the original.At the same time, the experiment shows that the finned tube itself has the effect of making the fly ash concentrate to the middle of the tube row, so the finned tube economizer has the effect of reducing the wear on the structure.

 

Boiler Economizer is the Energy improving device that helps to reduce the cost of operation by saving the fuel. The economizer in Boiler tends to make the system more energy efficient. In boilers, economizers are generally designed to exchange heat with the fluid, generally water. The exhaust from the boilers is generally in the temperature range of 200°C – 250°C, so there are a huge amount of losses from the boiler if any heat recovery devices are not installed after it. Application


During boiler operation in typical commercial and industrial applications, approximately 10-20% of the heating value of fuel is expelled with the stack gases to the atmosphere. Stack economizers are designed to recover significant amounts of this stack gas energy loss, thereby vastly improving boiler system efficiency. There are several considerations when selecting an economizer:

• Gas-side Pressure Drop. Added back-pressure on the boiler stack affects the combustion air fan throughput capability. The economizer and combustion air fan(s) must be sized properly in order to assure a suitable system operation and capacity.

• Feedwater Temperature. The feedwater to the economizer must be deaerated and the temperature setpoint minimally at 220oF to prevent tube corrosion.

• Water-side Pressure Drop. Feedwater pumps must be sized to accommodate the economizer pressure drop. Additionally, a continuous modulating feedwater system is required to ensure proper flow rates through the economizer.
