Description


Air pre-heater is a kind of equipment used to improve the heat exchange performance of the boiler and reduce energy consumption.Air preheater can be divided into three types: plate type, rotary type and pipe type.The working principle of air preheater is introduced with rotary type as an example.A large amount of unburned combustible material will be deposited on the heat transfer element and possibly air preheater will catch fire.The analysis of brake loss and air leakage treatment are also introduced in detail.

High efficiency and energy saving boiler part air preheater is a general term used to describe any device designed to heat air before another process (for example, combustion in a boiler) with the primary objective of increasing the thermal efficiency of the process. They may be used alone or to replace a recuperative heat system or to replace a steam coil.

 

Advantage


1. Improve and intensify combustion
After passing through the waste heat device, the air enters the furnace, which accelerates the drying, ignition and combustion process of fuel, ensures the stable combustion in the boiler and improves the combustion efficiency.
2. Enhanced heat transfer
As the combustion in the furnace is improved and strengthened, and the temperature of the hot air entering the furnace is increased, the average temperature in the furnace is also increased, which can strengthen the radiation heat transfer in the furnace.
3. Reduce the loss in the furnace, reduce the exhaust temperature and improve the thermal efficiency of the boiler
The chemical incomplete combustion loss can be reduced because the combustion is stable and the radiation heat exchange is intensified.On the other hand, the waste heat of flue gas is utilized by air preheater, which further reduces the loss of exhaust smoke and improves the thermal efficiency of boiler.According to experience, when the air preheater in rise by 1.5 ℃, exhaust temperature can reduce 1 ℃. 4. Hot air can be used as fuel drying agent
For the layer combustion furnace, hot air can use fuel with high moisture and ash content. For the power station boiler, hot air is an important desiccant and coal powder transmission medium of the powder system.
