Economizer is a mechanical device intended to reduce energy consumption, or to perform another useful function like preheating a fluid. The economizer is used for other purposes as well boiler, powerplant, and heating, ventilating, and air-conditionin(HVAC) uses are discussed in this article. In simple terms, an economizer is a heat exchanger.

In the process of starting the boiler (drum boiler), because the cycle of its steam pipe is not established, that is, the boiler feed water is in a stagnant state, at this time the water in the economizer is in a state of non-flow.With the strengthening of boiler combustion and the increase of flue gas temperature, the water in the economizer is prone to vaporization, making the part of the economizer in an overtemperature state.In order to avoid this situation, connect a pipe from the centralized downpipe of the steam drum to the inlet of the economizer as a recirculation pipe, so that the water in the economizer is in a flowing state to avoid its vaporization.

1.The economizer is a steam generation system as like a boiler. when the exhaust gas discharge from the engine cylinder through the exhaust valve it goes to the boiler for generate steam by heating of water.
