Superheater

 

A superheater is a component that heats saturated steam in an industrial boiler, turning it into superheated steam. Our superheater guarantees that the superheated steam temperature will fluctuate to within an allowable range (normally varies from 540°C to 500°C)when the boiler is over loaded.

 

Super heater types:
 

The outside diameter of the pipe is generally 30-60mm. The convection superheater is the most commonly used, and the serpentine tube type is adopted. It has a relatively dense tube group, which is arranged in the flue of 450-1000 ℃ flue gas temperature, and is subject to the transverse and longitudinal erosion of flue gas. The flue gas mainly transfers heat to the pipe by convection, and some of it absorbs heat by radiation. The platen superheater is composed of several tube platens, which are arranged in the upper part of the furnace or at the outlet. It belongs to radiant or semi radiant superheater. The former absorbs radiant heat of furnace flame, while the latter also absorbs part of convective heat.

In the power plant boiler above 10 MPa, two kinds of superheaters, platen type and serpentine tube type, are generally used to increase heat absorption. The wall type superheater applied on the inner wall of furnace is radiation type superheater, which is seldom used. The wall wrapped superheater is used in large capacity utility boilers to form the wall of the furnace top and convection flue, and the light furnace wall is made of heat insulation material. The figure shows the arrangement of several superheaters. The small capacity industrial boiler with superheater can meet the requirement only with convection superheater of single-stage tube group.
